Big mistake if we let Bolasie go just because we end up getting Benteke. Bolasie, Zaha and Townsend feeding him chances is what makes Benteke so attractive in the first place!

Why will it, only time we tell, his being rumoured to leave in the last 4 windows. If we used his money to buy benteke and Ashley young or moses. Then it's fantastic business.

His stock is not as high as it was 12 months ago. He had a mediocre season and never turned up for the Cup Final. In pre season hes looked lethargic and a bit overweight. Time to cash in while we still can

A little balancing of the books is mandatory. We'd all rather keep our best players but I just don't see how we get 'tekers in without getting some serious cash coming in to keep things sensible.

Sorry but if the Benteke signing does get over the line that is a serious upgrade on Bolasie who is inconsistent at best, and rarely delivers either goals or a half decent delivery into the box.

Benteke and Wickham in the middle is going to scar the c*@p out of most defences.

The harsh reality is that as much as he gets us off our seats with some skill he doesn't create enough and doesn't score enough.

I will miss him as he's been a huge part of the journey. He's also a terrific bloke. But 25m is a lot of money.

With a 25m bid on the table. It's look as YB may of played his last game for the eagles. Therefore we need to improve the squad strength with another winger.

Here a few ideas
Januzaj
Moses
J.Rodriguez

Any other suggestions?

Januzaj as he looks like he has potential to get to the very top one day, imho.

or Ashley Young, ive always liked him as a player, probably a bit of a t*** but good player.

if not, any off spring Andre Kanchelskis may have had...

How about Andros Townsend? Is he not a left winger?
