Well after yesterdays display by C W which i watched with great interest from the Whitehorse end,He looks the lad for me this season,come out firing and all guns blazing,hope it can last for a good long spell,wish him well.

Hope he has a good season. If he stays fit, we don't need benteke. Wouldn't mind berahino or another small second striker

I sincerely hope Connor stays largely injury free this season as has huge potential to score many goals and be the answer to our striker problems.
He was unfortunate to miss so many games last season through injury and an unnecessary suspension and I wish him much better fortune this coming season.

I think Wickham had a terrific game yesterday. If someone could play just behind to take advantage of his hold up's and ball winning I think we will be fine. Bear in mind that three/four first team players were missing yesterday. Zaha and Townsend looked good. Thought the team looked fit. I thought we looked very good. By the way the pitch looked fantastic.

No one is doubting CW ability, he still needs competition to raise his game. Personally I would rather buy one quality striker and a quality playmaker.

Conor is a powerful and deceptively skilful player. For me he is just as much a provider of chances as he is a taker of chances
And looking at the prices in the current transfer window I feel guilty at only paying Sunderland £9m for him !
I am sure he could play with Benteke just pay Liverpool what they want,then the only way is up.

West Brom being a Pulis team are one of the more physical sides in the division. As we are down to one striker there is a fair chance he'll be on the end of some strong challenges and get injured.

I just hope we get an another striker in before the game, or our negotiation tactics will have seriously backfired.

Personally would love Wickham to have a injury free season and go on and score 15+ goals. At the moment it's all our eggs in one basket.
