For those who haven't seen it, today's Observer has the predictions from supporters' representatives of the Premiership clubs as to which manager will be sacked first:

Mazzari: 5 votes
Pardew: 4 votes
Hull manager: 3 votes
Pulis: 2 votes
Dyche: 1 vote
Guidolin: 1 vote
Puel: 1 vote
Hull manager or Mazzari: 1 vote
Hull manager or Moyes: 1 vote
Mazzari or Moyes: 1 vote

Well, that's encouraging.

I wouldn't be surprised if new owners want more attractive football at WBA. Pulis could always leave on Friday.

I think Pulis will be out on his arse the minute West Brom lose about three matches. Which will not take long.

Pardew is high up that list because his stock is already reduced by the second half of last season in the league. It won't take many more bad results to dislodge him compared with someone new to his club like Moyes or someone established with his club but new to the Premier League, like Karanka.

Pulis also starts with reduced stock, not just because of iffy results but also because of the number of parking tickets their bus has received.

Have to say I think Pardew is rightly quite a long way up the list. Not that I necessarily think he will get sacked but his record for the last 6 months of the season was appalling. Continuing that would be a disaster for the club.

I think it is more likely that Hull or Boro will dispose of their managers (even though Hull haven't appointed one yet) because they are likely to be in dire straits, but only good faith and immense loyalty from the owners and a very good preceding 12 months kept Pardew in his job. I genuinely believe any other manager would have been sacked for the run Pardew had during the second half of the season.
