You want us to offer £8m+ for a 19 year old who'll not have slightest interest in joining Palace? I'd rather use one of our own teenagers. Plus a LB, especially a rack-and-stack one, is NOT a priority; we need to concentrate 100% on getting two goal-scoring strikers and then a decent AM. Bollocks to the defence; conceding goals wasn't our problem last season.

Defence was a growing problem in the 2H of the season and Delaney now is really getting on (and going up against some of the best strikers in the world). A lot rests on Tomkins being up to the challenge and him and Dann staying fit. If both those things don't happen, defence is a huge huge issue. If you can't ever keep a clean sheet, confidence slowly evaporates.

Personally I like Kelly at CB but don't think it'll ever happen.
