Have seen some rumours that FFS might be on his way seeing his days out back on the Coast (can't bring myself to say Brig... somehow), just wondering how we would all feel about this?

I think I'd be happy for him - as long as he didn't do anything stupid like lead them to promotion. For me, he's such a Palace legend, and did some many important things for us, that I'd like him to do well. But him doing well meaning them doing well's a tricky one.

Obviously just gossip anyway, but how would you feel IF he did move back to the dark side?

The longer this desperate attempt for promotion goes on the closer they get or the more they are on their eventual slide. No need to say anymore apart from FFS needs to max his earnings before retirement.

They should sign him up on a 7-year, 100 grand a week contract, I reckon.

He was brilliant for Palace and (apparently) Brighton but this would be a gamble as there must be a good reason why he was offloaded from Palace and why B'fluff hardly played him.

It was funny seeing Brighton wasting £20-£30k a week on their beloved Zamora, it would be twice as funning seeing them waste double that amount on FFS (although not so funny if he helped them get promotion).

For a club who's fans bang on about the debts Palace and Portsmouth had, they seem determined to increase theirs each season.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

1. Murray won't be on that much. £30k absolute max at Bournemouth. Possibly £25k.

2. It's okay to them if it's owed to a person (Bloom) and not to a bank. Trouble is it cannot continue forever.

3. If they do adore him again it'll be a player they celebrated a serious injury when he was on the deck 20 yards away from them in the Arfur.

What you cant see behind FFS, is a dwarf with a shotgun thrust into his back. Why else would he be joining them???

Good luck to him, He'll always be a Palace favourite but we've moved on now. I wonder what the weed fans think of having him back. Especially the ffs one.

By all accounts (this is one player I have a small amount of "ITK" about in that I have two mates that know him) he was mucked about a lot by Eddie Howe. Was due to go to Brighton on loan in the January window but Bournemouth kept making things difficult and it fell through. He lives down in Brighton with his family and is still very fond of them (I won't hold that against him). It's a logical thing for him to do, seeing his career out down there, whatever wages he's on.

I don't wish him well as such, I hope they treat him well and pay him well because he's done a lot for us. But as others have said, I hope he doesn't score too many goals for them!

From the local paper online correspondence, it ranges between wetting themselves at getting him back to criticising their board for wasting money on a 32/33 year old that's past his best. And the element that can't get over him playing for us of course.

Yep, that sounds like Brighton fans alright! About 1 in 50 of them is usually coherent though so keep searching!
