I haven't really heard of El Ghazi but apparently he's got lots of potential and will hopefully be a lot better than Sako, but Townsend has showed inspired for at the end of the season and 8 million will be a bargain but not sure where he would fit in with Zaha and Bolasie. I have never heard of El Ghaz but if the rumour mill is true and we are looking at wingers of the quality of Townsend I doubt whether it will be to "fit in with" Bolasie or Zaha but to replace one of them. Townsend was unlucky to miss the cut for the England squad in the Euros and won't be going to any lower Premiership club just to act as a bench warmer and would suggest that one of our existing pair will be leaving with the smart money being on Bolasie

No one's heard of El Ghaz. Do you men El Ghazi at Ajax? If so he seems to play regularly for them and scores a fair few goals. Why, in the name of all that's holy, would he want to come to Palace?
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

El Ghazi of Ajax? If so, very good player. Broke into the Ajax squad at a young age and was used as an impact sub while he was developing. Now he is a regular starter and has recently broken into the Dutch team. He is a very attacking wide player - he cannot defend, but very skilful, guilty of showboating at times - he does have goals in him. Would be a really exciting signing, but he is the type of player that would need a season or so to adapt...patience would be required!
