Same

On topic, how can they call it the International Champions Cup when Liverpool haven't won anything?

Because Liverpool are too arrogant to turn up to a cabbage festival so they had to lie about the acronym.

it's a bunch of friendlies in the US, china, & australia for clubs with big names. so they added a game in london right before the season begins. august 5th or 6th. i was surprised as i didn't think that game would garner much interest but they said it sold out almost immediately.

and the tickets aren't cheap. i went to see chelsea v barcelona last year and i think it was around . (hazard was fat - knew he'd have a bad season).

MASSIVE Money Spinner. I believe Manchester United v Real Madrid a year or two ago in Chicago had 100,000 in attendance. Leicester City are due to play Celtic & Barcelona in the same competition this year.

Amazing how English clubs don't mind playing other clubs around different continents when there is money to win but moan all the time that they play too much.

ann arbor, methinks, but close enough.

would love to see the final numbers on the income generated. do the players get a multiplier on their salaries for these?
