Can't work out who I think was a better player, both good , totally different , but both forwards.

But Wrighty was discovered late and Sheringham retired when he was about 54.

Wright, as he played for us.

Both brilliant players and think it comes down to personal preference. I tend to admire players with lack of pace more, due to their ability to adapt to the fast paced game, Teddy’s footballing brain enabled him to do that. Recently watched his Premier League 100 and he scored all types of goals.

You have to remember that for the majority of Wright's Arsenal career her was under either George Graham or Bruce Rioch. They were hardly playing free flowing football in those days. It was only once Wenger arrived that their style changed. In the two seasons that Wenger was there he scored 41 goals in 69 games. After that the remainder of his career was with West Ham, Celtic, Forest and Burnley and he still bagged 21 goals in 57 games. The numbers are just league goals as well according to Wiki and Sheringham got his 275 in 734 appearances whereas Wright got his 239 in 501 appearances. Sheringham played for an attacking Spurs side and hardly a bad Utd team! Not even close if you want a goal scorer in my view but Sheringham offered a lot more in terms of team play.

They used to say Sheringham was ‘the thinking man’s striker’.

It's a good one to throw in, just when your leaving a pub, especially if there's Palace, Millwall, Tottenham and Arsenal in there.

No idea, but they'd have made a great partnership
