I have recently purchased a season ticket for the new season and previously had one around 6-7 years for a good 5 years. The only points I have is the 500 for the season ticket plus FA cup final points I have collated. I am hoping to go to possibly 6-7 away games next season due to the price freeze (am I right in thinking they are a set price for all teams now?) across all teams but as we all aware there are a limited tickets for sale. What I wanted to find out is how do they typically sell away tickets. Does it work similar to the cup final with point system or is it based on season tickets holders then members etc? Do points carry over from the following season? If this is the case can someone with such a small amount of points have the opportunity to get away tickets. Games I am likely to try and get depending on time will be West Ham, Sunderland, One of the Manchester teams, Liverpool, Tottenham, West Brom and Southampton.

Yes tickets are sold based on points, as per the semi/final. Obviously the more glamorous away games will be unlikely to get to your level, however some should be fine. I'd reckon, City, Sunderland, West Brom and Southampton you will be fine for. Might need to get a bit lucky for others.

the hardest one last (this) season was Norwich away! Difficult to predict but for the majority you should be fine. As Liverpool moved to the Sunday I was even ok for that one, and I have a similar amount of points as you (think its about 700 by now) Originally posted by baldeagle88

It's not hard to get away tickets for most games. Bear in mind matches could be Friday night, Sat lunch time, Sat night, various Sunday times or Monday night plus occasional Tues/Weds matches. Those variations put a lot if people off travelling.

With all the the new fans we gained prior to the final we should sell out very quickly most weeks.
