Palace fan in Cincinnati here. I'm trying to get in touch with ownership of FC Cincinnati for info on tickets in the away section, pre-game drinks, etc., and I'll share here whatever I learn. A bit about the club. They are brand new, just having been formed within the past year and having played their first non-exhibition game a little over a month ago. They play in the USL, which is the league Glenn Murray briefly played in. It's considered to be the third tier of American soccer behind the MLS and NASL, but it's more or less equal to the NASL. (There is no promotion/relegation system here.) The club has the backing of a very wealthy Cincinnati family, and they put their money where their mouth is. Hired former Premier League footballer John Harkes to manage at the highest salary in the league, and also spent the highest combined salary on their players. Their goal is to show that the community will provide enough support to become an MLS team. So far, the community has proven them right, as they've twice broken the league record for attendance already and had over 23,000 fans this weekend. I'd imagine they could have 40,000+ for the Palace exhibition. Needless to say, I'm very excited that Palace is coming here.

Great to see that our squad is to visit North America, in mid July. Hope all host supporters see matches to remember. The Selhurst Park Pitch is looking superb, and I wonder if the teams promoted from Leagues One & Two could be invited to play st Selhurst Park - against teams selected from our potential squad and highly regarded developing players - with transmissions to our North American host clubs, who I am sure will appreciate a live game and four transmitted games - plus potential away games played in the UK.
