Morning all, im posting this on behalf of a very busy Adrock who is deep in to pre match display preparations which many of you have kindly donated towards. As everyone knows there are going to be even more thirsty South Londoners out in force this time around, even including those without tickets determined not to miss out on an historical Palace build up. With that in mind and to avoid the disappointment of too many people forcing the police to corden off the pavement and force people down the road (The HF received quite a few messages from disappointed fans who couldn't get near the pub due to popularity), the Punch and Judy and the surrounding square in Covent Garden have been chosen as the perfect location to start off proceedings. Lets take what we started at The Globe right to the heart of the city and show everyone why we're London and beyonds very best!

We'll be heading along. What sort of time do you envisage heading towards Wembley?

Sunderland and Dortmund have drank there on mass in recent years. Quite a few of us were there for the Dortmund v Munich build up and the pubs in the area were more than accomodating and it was a great setting for a mass pre match drink. The same has been said for Sunderlands visit at last years league cup final. The main thing is to get everyone together in one particular space to get the best atmosphere possible on one of our biggest days as a club and The Globe unfortunately doesn't offer that with its small slice of pavement.

As this is I assume not a designated pub how do we know if the mancs have the same idea. We don't need the tension and we have had issues probviously.

i see this has taken off but once again, has anyone contacted the pub about this? i'm pretty sure that the old bill wont be too happy with thousands of Palace and poss Manure fans converging in covent garden, let alone the pub.
