The Allsop Arms was great before the play-offs and slightly easier to get served in than The Globe, likewise The Volunteer just up the road. There is a Tesco Express on Melcombe Street for some cans before getting on the tube, although I think Boris has made drinking on the tube illegal now.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Coming from High Wycombe past Wembley to The Globe for some pre-game atmosphere. Go back from Marylebone to Wembley on the Chiltern Line, drinking not banned, happy days!

Last Wembley visit I took Ollie to The Globe with about 400 other Palace fans when a game of 200-a-side footy broke inbetween the Baker St. traffic! Great fun, great atmosphere. Ollie's Dad,Ash.
