Went to the Metropolitan bar a spoons pub for breakfast at opening 10am before the play offs 2013
Almost opposite the Globe, perfect for the early starters.
Because lucky enough to get club Wembley tickets am making the most of it and getting in early as possible to enjoy to the max.

The Allsop Arms was great before the play-offs and slightly easier to get served in than The Globe, likewise The Volunteer just up the road.

There is a Tesco Express on Melcombe Street for some cans before getting on the tube, although I think Boris has made drinking on the tube illegal now.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Coming from High Wycombe past Wembley to The Globe for some pre-game atmosphere. Go back from Marylebone to Wembley on the Chiltern Line, drinking not banned, happy days!

Ok, so it's my 8 year old boys first trip to Wembley and I want him to get the full Wembley experience!!

A massive part of which is soaking up the pre match atmosphere so where am I going to find it? I seen a few people post about the globe in baker st, is that the general opinion?

Last Wembley visit I took Ollie to The Globe with about 400 other Palace fans when a game of 200-a-side footy broke inbetween the Baker St. traffic! Great fun, great atmosphere. Ollie's Dad,Ash.
