This is what's wrong with Football/fans nowadays..... No offence to Leicester(good luck to them)

There wouldn't be all those "Leicester Fans" in Thailand if Leicester were at the wrong end of the table.

I wish I could switch teams. Its 15 minutes walk from where I live to the Madjeski Stadium, it takes me around 2 hours to get to Selhurst park (and longer to get home in the evening). I wasn't even born in South London, or ever lived there but my Uncles took me to Palace games, and as a result I've only ever seen Reading when Palace have been the opposition (Ok not entirely true, I have been a few times with friends - but its a social thing). I just don't feel the same way about Reading as I do about Palace, even though my whole life has largely been spent no more than 8 miles from the town, and lots of my friends are Reading fans. Even when I wasn't even interested in football I would still check the Palace results and positions. And secretly, I wouldn't want it any other way.

What difference does it make. In the old days people used to support their local team and most of them had local players. Nowadays clubs like Palace employ Welsh, Scottish, French, African etc players with hardly a local lad in sight so why should locals support their local League of Nations club
