Hi all,

Reading fan in peace.

Just wanted to get some views from your side before the HUGE game on Friday, if you'd be so kind to answer a a few of the questions!

1. Palace are currently on a terrible run of form, how confident are you that it will change on Friday?

2. We all know about some of the dangers in your squad but who has been hitting top form recently and who should Reading be most concerned about?

3. Have you any suspensions or injury doubts for the game? with that in mind what do you expect your line up to be?

4. What do you know about Reading' season so far? Are your fans wary about us at all?

5. Score Predictions?

Thanks!

I care.

But then I went to Villa Park and then twice to Wembley so I got the taste for it. And of course the ZDS which was actually a fantastic day out.

Reading fan in peace.

Just wanted to get some views from your side before the HUGE game on Friday, if you'd be so kind to answer a a few of the questions!

1. Palace are currently on a terrible run of form, how confident are you that it will change on Friday? We haven't played badly in all the matches, but as you may have seen yesterday, when you're struggling then luck deserts you as well

2. We all know about some of the dangers in your squad but who has been hitting top form recently and who should Reading be most concerned about? Connor Wickham scored 4 goals in 2 games but was injured ( again ) yesterday. And is a doubt for Friday. Other than him, I think you can relax !

3. Have you any suspensions or injury doubts for the game? with that in mind what do you expect your line up to be? Wickham as mentioned. McArthur and Puncheon are both out. Cabaye looks to be carrying an injury.

4. What do you know about Reading' season so far? Are your fans wary about us at all? You don't look to be setting the Championship alight, but in cup football it's all about what you do on the day...yes, I'm wary !

5. Score Predictions? It's hard to be positive about Palace right now. If we lost it wouldn't come as a surprise. Equally I can see us putting aside our league problems and winning. I'm terrible at predictions, but I'm going to say 3-2 to Palace.

Thanks!

Just a quick question. Your one game away from Wembley yet still had 2000 tickets which went on general sale today. Is there a reason for this. The pricing was spot on and i would have thought they would have been snapped up.

Not quite general sale but open to all members but I take your point. We always, for some reason, take a while to sell out games home or away. For example Bradford H and A in the QF last year only sold out a day or two before, as did our allocations for Brentford, Charlton and Bristol City this year.
Not sure the reasoning behind it, suppose we're just an indecisive bunch!

My big concern is the FACT that our confidence is VERY fragile. We played well up until Liverpool equalised, but then became very nervous and you could see that the team were edgy.

Strange as it may seem I think we would be better off if Reading got an early goal on friday and we really were chasing a result.
We could crumble if a similar scenario as against Liverpool played out.

But it's the cup so what do I know.

Anyway I just hope it's played in a good spirit and both teams make it a great match.

*** FYI ***

Just to let you know that there is an alternative option to some of the Crystal Palace fans travelling to the game on Friday who require parking.

There is secure parking for the match on Friday 11th March 2016 for £6. The site is a six-minute walk from the stadium. The address is: ISS Facility Services, 14 Commercial Road, RG2 0QJ

Gates will be open at 5.30pm and close promptly at 11pm. There is space for 50 cars.

The car park will have several members of staff operating at any given time, including during the match. The gates will be closed during the game for added security.

Parking is strictly at owners risk and ISS accept no responsibility for loss or damage to the vehicle or contents.

Hope that this helps some of the visiting fans and all the best for the game on Friday.

Regards,

Luke.

I think Reading may have got our allocation wrong. I understand segregation and all that and we got the same as WBA, aproximately 3900 but it seems loads of Palace have bought tickets in home ends. As stated Reading had 2000 tickets for sale on Monday and a lot appear to have got into the hands of Palace fans. May well be a lively night for the stewards.
