Imagine if Pardew went back to Newcastle and we got MacLaren. Actually, don't do that. That's awful

MacLaren spent £85 million at Newcastle and they are still s'hite. At least Palace were good for half a season and became s'hite without spending any money. Silver lining and all that. I hope Newcastle stick with MacLaren or employ someone equally rubbish.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

This could spell disaster for us. McClaren was keeping NUFC punching below their weight and booking the 3rd relegation spot for the toon. They have a game in hand and are only 9 points behind us. Who thinks we'll get anything at home to Leicester and away at West Ham? With a new manager and the bounce it gives teams we could easily be just 3 points ahead by the start of April..... and we play them away on April 30th.... ? worrying times. Whilst its been on the cards, Newcastle really need either Pulis or big Sam (and one of those is not going there). Whilst Moyes and Houlier are great managers, they're not fire fighters. And Newcastle FC is one fire.

Whoever gave McClaren the job should also be walking. Absolutely ridiculous appointment. What has he done to be given a Premier League managers job? Did OKish at Boro and not too bad in Holland, but f***ed up England, Wolfsburg, Forest and Derby. Totally inept. Hopefully he hasn't been sacked and will remain at toon to finish the job.

Could be very bad news for us if McClaren is sacked by Newcastle.
