I'm booked in for the end of January to stop my little swimmers from impregnating the missus to ensure less gingers are roaming the country. Can anyone advise based on experience how long the recovery time is, will I have elephant balls for a couple of weeks after and if there's really blood in the jizz for the first few ejaculations? Ta.

I had it done about 20 years ago - but unnerving having someone poke about down below with a crochet hook when you are stil awake! It was a bit uncomfortable for a few days, no swelling for me, but take it easy as they tell you to do for a few days - no lifting or straining as that's what seems to be what causes the problems - good excuse to sit in front of the TV and take all the sympathy! If only ????

I had it done about 20 years ago - but unnerving having someone poke about down below with a crochet hook when you are stil awake!

It was a bit uncomfortable for a few days, no swelling for me, but take it easy as they tell you to do for a few days - no lifting or straining as that's what seems to be what causes the problems - good excuse to sit in front of the TV and take all the sympathy!

Had my done about 10 years ago. Not an unpleasant procedure at all. Only slightly embarrassing as I had to present my self in the nude in front of two middle aged female nurses! I had no swelling to speak of, but had to buy a pair of y-fronts. I had no blood that I could see. Also they tell you to 'clear the system' afterwards by 'getting as many in as you can'. I've been told twenty ejaculations or eight weeks and then get a sperm test. Will be hopefully given the all clear within a few days.
