Highly rated Man Utd youngster signs for Brighton on loan until the end of the season. Serious sign of intent.

On the plus side, Man Utd fans aren't happy so that's nice.

Could prove to be a brilliant signing.Wilson is a natural goalscorer with plenty of pace.

Brighton also signed Wolves winger Rajiv Van La Parra, another player who is very quick.

It's interesting just how attractive Brighton are to Premier League clubs and players for loans. Are they paying a lot of money for these, or have they got a strong network? Or is it the pull of the big plastic stadium?

Part of me hopes it's purely monetary and they finish 7th with a load of debt. When I say part of me, I mean, all of me.

They already have that, but Bloom's pockets seem to be bottomless. It would be sweet if they didn't go up, because their chairman must be hoping for some of the investment back soon. Surely there's a limit to how long he can keep bankrolling them season after season? FFP pah!

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Well yeah, that's the problem, they don't consider it a debt in that the money is owed to the chairman and not a third party. The longer they haemorrhage money for the more it'll manifest as a debt though!

In their last accounts (2013/14) they owed Bloom £130m, up from £102m the previous year, all interest free and no date for repayment
