Small allocation and it's Boxing Day. Will be nigh on impossible to get a ticket unless you go to every game.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I have a season ticket and have done since our first year in the top flight, I've been to a fair few away days, United(2), Newcastle, West Brom, West Ham etc. but I'm DESPERATE to go to Bournemouth... if I don't have enough points do you think I could reserve a ticket encase someone drops out??

Reserve a ticket with who? Unless you have 3000 points or close to that then you will find it hard as we only get a ticket allocation of around 900. I do not actually see what all the fuss is about going to Bournmouth. Its on Boxing day, no trains running. Well and truly hyped up. Only FFS gives it any appeal to me.

Are there enough people with 3000 points to sell out on that level? may be you have enough points for the 2nd round?

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

According to CPFC2010 in a similar thread on BBS:

"It's impossible to say what points are needed but there will be about 1200 tickets available after those for players and disabled fans and their helpers are allocated. Take off the people who go to every away game as away season ticket holders and that leaves around 1000 left.

Only 748 supporters currently have 3000 points or more so they are all sure to get a ticket if they want one - but the 748 also includes most away season ticket holders. So that will leave about 500 tickets for those with under 3000 points by my calculations."
