Scary "stats"

« on: September 15, 2015, 10:32:27 AM »

This is now 3 PL wins for Newcastle for the whole 2015 so far (Hull away 3-0, Villa home 1-0 and West Ham home 2-0).
That's it :!

What the f**k is wrong at this club ? :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

You tell me
We changed the coaching team, we changed the manager.
We can argue that we pretended to change the manager but in fact he is in the same mould than Pardew, so that could be one reason.
We brought in some players but only a few seems to perform (MBemba.). I don't buy into the saying that a player needs time to adapt. Look at Dimitri Payet :!
Owner is the same but he is much less involved than last year and he made the money available.
So, what is it ?

Is it that any players who come here only look at their next move to "CL clubs" ? (they'd need to prove thay can actually do the job in the first place !).

I begin to believe that indeed the type of players we bring in (young, not proved quality, cheap....) is the source of our issues. It is far too one dimensional. They should be surrounded by players who have PL experience. Actually, if Payet performs so well, it may be because he is playing with many players who bring this PL experience.
Look at our team yesterday night . Who had this PL experience ? Krul, Colo, Colback, Cisse. One is the GK , one is not getting any younger and the 2 others are piss poor.

The team does not look like a team. It is dis-jointed, they don't look like taking any fun by playing together. They look like they don't care. Cisse was still all smile after the game despite the result and his woeful "performance" !

A proper revolution is neeeded. We missed an opportunity last summer not bringing Garde or Viera and giving the manager the transfer responsibility. Carr seems to be wrong in far too many of his transfer choices.

Basically should have had more players come in, a striker & another central defender was a must!!!

Talk of Austin or another striker & defenders coming in January, probably too damn late then :nonono:

Probably be marooned at the bottom of the table & a fair amount of points from safety

Theres a difference between spending money and signing the right players. You look at 50M spent and it seems great but we still have gaping holes and that's because of the years of investing on the cheap and continually leaving gaping holes in the squad

What makes it worse are our gaping holes are in the spine of the team and if we didnt have this stupid policy of not going for anyone who isn't on Graham 'the dinosaur' Carrs w@nk list we could have addressed those holes very easily with players who moved elsewhere this window

Whats up with the club....

imho we are no longer a club in its true sense, we a football Agents wet dream, we are a store front for s***Direct, we have a manager that is a proven failure who is now on the board, we have a owner who just ..wont...quit... and we are a haven for overpriced players who continue to promise the world and show us f**k all.

Krul.... drop him (oh no we cant/wont cause he once played for Holland and saved a penalty)

Colo.... drop him (oh no we cant cause...well I dunno why but they cant...)

Saylor.... remove him (oh no we cant cause he's a local lad and ...this just in NO f****** WANTS TO BUY HIM)

Dummet....remove him (see Saylor)

Colback....drop him (oh no we cant cause he's local...blah blah blah)

Willo....just shoot him....please (we don't allow animals to suffer so why is he any different)

Tiote....should have been sold 2 years ago but guess what....NO f****** WANTS HIM

Haidara....not good enough should be sold on

Anita....poor little f******, sometimes our best option in the middle but screwed when having to deal with colbacks rampaging runs forward(FFS)

Obertan....f**k off....just f**k off

Sissoko....now this is an issue, I honestly think if he played centre mid he would be a beast, but stick the poor bugger on the wing and he is wasted, also "wants away" so who knows whats going through his head (French international when he came here now look at him 1 goal in 10)

Gouff....would chase a crisp packet, but these days even that would beat him.

Papis....sorry kidda for leaving you alone since Ba left, for your own sanity get yourself a move quick while you can still earn some cash.

De Jong...sick note, played an hour or so in the last 12 mths and now apparently wants to finish his career in the MLS, I doubt we will see 15 games a season from him.

The new lads I've left out of this and Janmmat/Perez/Aarons (in the case of the last 2 I would be wondering wtf is going on Perez poss the best player last season couldn't get a start and Aarons cant get a game in front of Obertan!)

A manager/club/scout that consistently plays players out of position and defensive formations that give the lone striker f**k all service its no surprise your fullback is your most effective attacker.

Selling the likes of Abeid (pisses on Colback more creative and mobile), Santon (best left back we have had since Enrique), Mapou (if rumours are true and its all down to Colo not getting on with him) who was/is far better than Saylor/Willo will ever be, and Kemem who looked an amazing prospect but deemed not good enough.

most ive typed in a while so forgive the ravings of a daft old t**t....you may not agree but it was a question I felt I had to add my opinion to...

Skosh....

Everything Skosh just said 100% right. and sadly there is no way anything is going to change, the players last night showed nothing in terms of organisation, attitude or attacking intent, well apart from janmatt and ayoze when he came on when the game was already gone.
just cannot see how our squad is going to stay up this time.
i got back at 2.30 am to pboro but some other poor bast*rds on the coach must have got back to Newcastle about 4 or 5 am , do you think the players, management give a fu*k about that?
mclaren did not even come over to acknowledge the fans at the end!! fair play to Paul Simpson who has least did.

Smiley bluffingb******s fc.

The torture of this season hasn't even started yet.

January will need to see 10 players in at a cost of 50 million plus just to have ago at the deficit which could well be in excess of 12 points by then...

The wise money is on the drop

A premier league team with anita and colback at CDM is asking for trouble. both poor in my opinion. weak compared to most teams in the league.

Cisse can't score most of his goals have been pure luck.

Newcastle have won 15 games in 21 months since 2014, and have accrued the second fewest points-per-game in the Football League in 2015 (ahead of only basket case Blackpool).

I respect everyones opinion and the facts are the facts, but this thread is airing a little on the hysterical side....we have only played 5 games. I agree, on what we have seen so far it does not look good, not good at all, but it is a little early to be so dismissive. First and foremost SM has to clean up after Pardew and that may take a while, I think we can all agree there have been some positive changes and all we can hope for is that the team start to gel and produce some more chances and score some goals, if we can do that, we can turn it around.

The 12 games SM mentioned are getting closer now though. We have to beat Watford, Norwich and Sunderland (with Stoke and Bournemouth to come which are winnable and Chelsea and Citi also, probably won't get anything), best case scenario after 12 games is that we have 17 points. The maximum we can achieve now after 12 games is 23 points. 23 points after 12 games would be a good return. 17, not bad. Half of that, which is where we may find ourselves, i.e 8 or 9, well, that would be a disaster and we would be marooned. So, the next 2 months are really important, we have to turn this around.

I know 'Willo' rubs up some on this board with his 'stance' on 'standing' but he certainly has 'knowledge' .

And he is 'passionately' Palace as evidenced by his 'account' of a 'spat' with a Brighton 'supporter'.

I'm afraid I had another altercation with a Brighton oaf yesterday in Worthing Town Centre. My wife was NOT impressed, I had an argument with her over it and that put end to our planned lunch on the nice restaurant at the end of the pier.

Is it like a form of 'Tourettes' for you Willo? As soon you see a 'seaweed' you have to 'let em have it'!

TBH it the duty of any respectable palace fan to do the same.

They dont't like it 'up em' .. oh wait!

To be honest I don't start laying into them, shout and scream and hurl insults. I just made some comments in jest as pure banter and they have taken it the wrong way and an argument ensues. Bloody humourless lot and who full of envy about our "Standing" (Oops !) in the Premier League.

My father lives in 'sussex by the sea' just off the a259, would love to put a palace flag on a mast off his garage so everyone could see.

Do you wear 'colours' or the badge when you are out and about in 'sussex by the sea' ?
