I dont know if anyone can help me with this query , i am looking for anything newpaper articles ,or photos , or any information about a centre forward that played for Palace from 1952 to 55, his name was Robert Thomas , we signed him from Fulham, apart from his wickepedia page of which i have found there doesnt seem to be much on him...my daughter gets married next year and "Robert Thomas" was my future son-in-laws Grandadand ( sadly not with us anymore) he has got one team photo of Mr Thomas when he played for Fulham with the great Tommy Trinder standing on the end of the team picture. I would love to get some more info, maybe there is one of our older supporters who could tell me a bit about him. I know its a long shot but worth a try ...thanks chaps.....

A bit pissed off having to admit to being an older supporter but hey! I used to watch Bob Thomas play for Palace, he certainly came from Fulham and he was getting to the end of his career. I suggest that you look in a copy of Roy Pesketts book on Palace to find a Palace team photo.

I do get the impression that Robert Thomas was a strong bustling old fashioned type of centre forward .
