"Santon left Newcastle in January, joining Internazionale of Italy, but he could already be set for a return to England, as TMW claim that Palace want to sign him." Another tenuous link to another ex-Newcastle man? We'll see. Edited by Fazil Bawlty (22 Jun 2015 4.40pm)

Santon was signed for £5 Mill whilst Pardew was at Newcastle.

Another tenuous link to another ex-Newcastle man? We'll see. I read that ridiculous article earlier but thought it too ludicrous to start a thread on. Pardew didn't fancy him much at Newcastle so didn't play him getting rid of him in the January sales but not he's raring to buy him back for us. Other little gems in the article include "Santon would improve a position in the Palace squad which has shown to be a weakness in recent years, with Martin Kelly and Joel Ward featuring at right-back last term. Ward impressed, but he is naturally a centre back, and signing a natural right-sided defender will be of vital importance this summer" The article is a complete waste of space but at least it gave Willo another opportunity to post his usual pointless drivel

I don't want to turn this into a Willo thread but why the f*ck do people insist writing snide comments about him? I actually like the fact willo puts himself out to give us an insight into players. For instance, "He has played for Inter Milan but has been a fan of AC Milan since he was a child". This indicates he has no loyalty to teams and is after the wages more than playing as part of a team. Keep it up Willo!!!

Like Carragher, who was an Everton fan as a child, played for Liverpool and proved throughout his career that he had no loyalty to teams and was only in it for the money. I also enjoy Willo posts, although less as valuable information and more because I think they are absolutely mental and quite often give me a giggle.

Yes it's a bo***cks article, but thought i'd post it to fulfil the duty of keeping all HOLers informed with the deplorable garbage that's being continually chugged out by these 'credible' online sites. It's in the spirit of silly season. Saying that, here's another story linking us to him: He definitely fits our right footed left-back scouting requirements... We just can't get enough of them. Like Carragher, who was an Everton fan as a child, played for Liverpool I think that Robbie Fowler was also a boyhood Everton fan.And of course Denis Law went to Man C and scored a goal which sent Man Utd down ! He was a hero at Man Utd but actually had played for Man City before he went to Italy. Edited by Willo (22 Jun 2015 7.22pm)
