I've seen transfer rumours in the papers linking us with the QPR goalkeeper Alex McCarthy. I hope this is way off the mark. I saw him at the end of the season, deputising for Rob Green and he was awful. Hennessey and Speroni next season please. I think we can forget about Casillas as well, he won't come to Palace, of that I am sure. He will want European football of he moves.

Whilst i'm happy with Speroni and Hennessey, if the latter chooses to leave for first team football, i'd be happy for this guy to be his replacement. He hardly got any playing time last season but when he was a first team player at Reading he did look like a GK for the future with a number of great saves in that sole Premiership season.

Would seem unlikely as Rob Green is strongly rumoured to be leaving for Chelsea. How many goalkeepers can QPR lose?

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

The other keeper in their squad is Brian Murphy whom Warnock signed from Ipswich. It was Roy Keane who signed him for Ipswich from Bohemians.

The fact that Harry Redknapp signed him is enough for me. Hope this doesn't happen. Speroni & Hennessey were fine unless one of them wants a move. Why fix it when it's not broken?

Success will lie to you but failure always tells you the truth.

When he played for Rangers last season, he was not good. Made a couple howlers if memory serves me correctly.

Cannot be seen as an improvement on what we already have in my opinion.

I would assume that one of them is making noises they want to move and we have received a bid. It's now just a matter of finding a replacement.

If Hennessey does leave this seems like a sensible replacement.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I just have a "Feeling in my water" that Speroni will not be No1 next season.
