Absolutely outrageous what the developers did. Just as it was about to be listed they demolished it without any permission at all.

I hope they make them rebuild it exactly as it was, but I have my doubts it will ever happen.

A Labour borough would've preferred the flats as long as a couple were 'affordable'.

This happens quite a lot, the company will go into administration and the pub will never be rebuilt. Eventually another company, coincidentally with the same people running it as the old company, will build flats.

Two of the flats will be listed as affordable on the planning application but mysteriously only one will be made available. The one next to the bins and with no use of the communal areas.

 


It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Yes... and not correctly identifying it would most likely end up as a Mosque!
