If you have memories of this, I'm sure most of us would love to hear from you.

When my father-in-law died twenty years ago, we acquired all of his stuff, most of which was of no interest.

We boxed it up and stored it on the loft of our garage. Now that we are downsizing, we have to get rid of all the rubbish we have acquired since we have been married.

Looking through the junk we found this photo, with, thankfully annotations on the back. It tells us where we are and what we are looking at.

We should all be pleased that we are able to live our lives without having to deal with 'incidents' like this.

...And Government censorship!

Bugger, it's been seen in South Africa!

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Must have been terrible for the people in those houses, but notice the Main Stand at Selhurst(the real target) escaped being obliterated and still stands today with of course improvements still in progress.

Millwall fans did worse damage than this in the 70's.

A great picture with a rather different looking Holmesdale end.

Mind you if I didn't know better I would have guessed it was the aftermath of a Yannick Bolasie shooting practice session.

Indeed it is the same stand. Mind you, not so hard to believe if you sit in it at every home game.
