I do. 36 years ago, when I had no responsibilities, I had a few after match drinkies with my mates. It was a Saturday evening and after the drinks, my next port of call was the launderette. Not having sufficient change, I went to the bar and bought a couple of scratch cards and asked for the change in coins. Not a bad decision I think you'll agree.

Whoa £500 in 1979 was over 1,000 pints or a near mortgage free flat in Balham. I do hope you spent it on the former and didn't waste it.

Yup! We had a young lad used to come round the house every week selling them. Never had your sort of luck but used to win the odd £1 or £5

No, I was overcome with sensibility and used it as a deposit for a house. That photocopy has been residing in a box of other junk in my loft for all these years - no scanners in those days!

I used to sell them in Selsdon years back, They stopped doing them after a couple of the guys got robbed on their rounds. Being honest (or not) the organisers were useless and I often borrowed some of the money to buy cigs.
