Rather have the Lib/Dems involved in government than any of the others. As neither 'big' parties will have an overall majority just hope the Lib/Dems do better than many predicting.

As a strategy for them it's the best of a bad lot. It's going to take another election cycle for the to recover from this one though.

They did put pay to some of the tories more out there policies. That said, I don't think any party will be in a position to cozy up to the lib dems to form a coalition. They may play a play, but the SNP may well play kingmaker this election. The UKIP seats are largely irrelevant. Low single figures.
