Next week McCoys last festival I reckon he's a good bet a 10/1 to be top jockey. I've missed the last couple of years but going tuesday and Wednesday will be donning the Red and Blue Shires on fires scarf on the Wednesday lucky enough I know a brother in law to the owners of Sire de Grugy and as I believe he is one of the reasons there is a connection with Palace Cmon Sire lets have a repeat of last year!! Tips for tuesday and Wednesday would not go a miss Edited by cpfc_chap (05 Mar 2015 8.06pm)

I'd be surprised if Ruby Walsh isn't top jockey, he could potentially get 5 winners on the first day alone I think Sire de Grugy has a very good chance, his last prep race in that handicap oozed class. Sprinter Sacre has something to prove. Faugheen is the banker

Ruby has some great rides on the first day but I cant be backing such short odds The Faugheen should stroll that race but would not be surprised if TNO runs it all the way mind

Faugheen would need to run a stinker not to win. Will have a saver on Jezki just in case

The New One was unlucky last year and should have won so the 4/1 today is not bad at all considering he has won his last four races. This is easily Faugheen's toughest race to date and I reckon he will be beaten or if he does win it won't be by much. E/w 4/1 The New one barring a fall. Generous.

Ruby Walsh or Barry Geraghty are my selections for top jocks as their trainers have the most fancied horses. I hope A P McCoy has a good last festival though. I think this is the most open festival for years. Nearly every bookie is giving cashback as a free bet on the 1.30pm race today.... well worth a punt.
