Lot of discussion going around on here about this more than likely being Jule's last season as our number one. We haven't had to have a discussion around signing a new goalie on here for absolutely years. Where would we go searching and what sort of talent could we expect to attract in this position seeing as they would be almost gauranteed first team football for as long as they wanted as long as they perform to the required very high standard.
Do we have to search overseas and unearth an Adrain? Or is there a top goalie warming the bench of a premier league rival, who is ready and would jump at the chance of being a PL number one?
Is there a young British Goalie destined for the top waiting for the opportunity to make the step up like the next Nigel Martyn or Joe Hart?
Any hot prospect tips from our overseas based fans who have a strong knowledge of their local talent in their homelands?

Good goalkeeper. An excellent signing by Paul Lambert from Everton. It was David Moyes who signed him for Everton from Ccamb Utd for I think £250K. Believe that Ruddy was at Everton when Nigel Martyn was the established keeper and later it was Tim Howard who was the No1. Whilst at Everton, Ruddy had to also compete alongside Richard Wright, Iain Turner, Carlo Nash and probably others in the first team squad.

Jack Butland

I spoke to someone about this lad. According to him Butland is a calm character and doesn't get flustered in big game scenarios. Tony Pulis signed him for Stoke !

Butland's future is dependent on Begovic. I'd be bit surprised if he's happy to be back up as he gets older, but I'm sure Stoke have a plan for him as they paid a fair amount

I think they paid in excess of £3 Mill for him.

Regards a "Plan", Butland was bought by Pulis but Hughes is now the manager and I have no idea how "Sparky" rates the keeper.

i wouldnt mind a tim krul at the palace next season. i think he would consider the move hes been at newcastle long enough to realise that he cant go any further so why not want a new challenge. just a thought.

brad jones at liverpool. hes the bench warmer would he be in trested and would he be good enough?

brad guzan. currently in a dog fight with villa maybe he would want to be more stable and join the eagles.
thats my top 3 will put in order i want them

1 tim krul
2 brad guzan
3 brad jones

Rosler signed him from Charlton. I've heard that Button is a fantastic professional.
