Are thermos flasks allowed in the ground as a warming beverage or disallowed as an offfensive weapon? Any help would be great was freezing at the Everton game and want to bring one Wednesday night

If you are old or are female you might be let in.

If you're young and male and sit anywhere other than the main stand then I'm not too sure.

Probably should have posted this in general rather than ticket.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I presume the stewards would check the contents though? Otherwise I might be tempted to bring some Irish coffee with extra whiskey.....

Sorry OP, I'm hijacking your thread for my own needs now!

Not sure how things are at Selhurst nowadays, but my father (now in his 60s) and I (male, in my 30s) frequently take a flask of coffee, along with a bar of chocolate or two, to away games we attend up north and have never had a problem. The stewards always check to see what we’re carrying of course, but there’s never been an issue with taking a flask even in the Premier League. As long as you are honest, polite and good humoured about it I'm sure the stewards will be quite reasonable.

I'll be bringing my thermos flask and my Tommy cooper joke book along on Wednesday night then.
