Been in the news a lot lately, with the film of the plane crashing in Taiwan this week and the meteorite in Russia a while ago. Also read about people using them as evidence in court cases and for insurance purposes after an RTA. Thinking about getting one myself and wondered what the good folk of HOL reckon. Anyone on here use one? Ever been useful, or entertaining? Any recommendations?

Nope. The same people that usually moan that there's too much CCTV. They don't seem to think their own cameras count. I f***ing love that Car Crash TV on channel Five though. Them eastern Europeans have proper accidents, and about half of them try to scarper.

We were told that'd be the case with the telemetry boxes. One or two insurers have dared mention it when requesting quotes and been told to sod off.

have had one for about 3 months or so now, strangely reassuring knowing that if someone decides to clout you, you don't have any need to worry as its on camera , but on the downside it can also show your mistakes as well. Had a few instances of pure stupidity caught, not by me though !!!!

so many crazy, insane, bad drivers over here that you kind of need one of these cameras just in case. Seen a few accidents in my short time in Russia and also was involved in one minor car accident as well. Its very common here.
