Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

Always remember as a kid, walking up to the ground, and hearing the chants of "Eagles" back in the day, the singing used to always start way before the game, this was before we had music banging out, which just kills the build up atmosphere..

Just when I thought that I was out...........they pull me back in

Never forget when as a young scamp me and a few like minded colleagues decided to scale the wriggly tin fence behind the old Whitehorse, pre Sainsburys obvs.
So like trained ninjas we're up n over, only to find ourselves in a massive patch of overgrown bushes, accompanied by a snarling wolf of a police dog, eyes aflame and a teeth a gnashing!!
Bloody copper made us go back in and watch the rest of the game!!

The old Sunderland ground Roker Park apparently was something else, they called it the 'Roker Roar'
