yes but also lukas has a market value of around 17m and was pledged more game time recently so might not move(and spensive) if we can get him cheap then good but cold + lukas will be what? 25-30m then wages it just seems too much(as much as i would love podolski and cole here)

I wanted him on loan in January.

Now he is available on a free.

He has scored goals all his career & is only 30.

Think he could be an excellent signing , he is a great finisher. Would prefer some of the others we are linked to as they would suite our style more but if he's out of contract , it certainly makes it more affordable for us.
