My choice for goalie, would be Nico Vaesen (sp?)

I know most others would go for Jules, or 'our Nige', but for me Nico was faultless and fantastic for the half season he was here

I disengage, I turn the page.

Yeah, faultless for the ten minutes he was with us. How he gets in your top XI ahead or Nige or Jules who both played hundreds of games is beyond me.You including Ray Wilkins as well ?

Glazier and Martyn were both better than Jackson.

Neither AJ or Wilf would make a Palace best ever eleven.

Thats not to say that they were not good players.

We all have opinions of course, for example I did not get to watch Peter Simpson. When you compile names you have to include players such as P. Taylor-Lombardo The Don-Mark Bright-Byrne etc.

I never saw peter simpson play but he deserves to be in a bestXI as he is our all time top scorer and he scored about 19 hat tricks

Glazier and Martyn were both better than Jackson.

For me, Glazier no. Martyn probably yes. But I would still pick Jackson ahead of him for the scientific reason that he's my all-time Palace hero.

So the majority saying JJ in goal so what about left back? I'd say Kenny Sansom

is it possible to compare players of the past to the present? My wedding 6 years ago I had the twelve tables named after my best eleven players and manager (those I watched). With the class shown this sesason do I now replace Hinchlewood with Ward? and do the rest stay?Martyn.Hinchelwood,Cannon,Evans,Samson,Murphy,Hilaire,Nicholas,Taylor,AJ and Mr Bright, ( would never chose that arsenal bloke) sorry and of course i sat on god's table.

Nigeeeeeeeeeeel, bloody legend!
