Management have been over to France in the last few days on a scouting mission. However, they don't expect any new players to arrive in the next couple of weeks.
Tony Pulis is off reporting at the World Cup from June 10-June 20 too, while Keith Millen begins a two-week holiday tomorrow.

Be interesting to see what if anything we pick up in France. When Moody joined he spoke about being an expert in that market and it being a great resource for quality and value

Wague seems one of several French players TP might be interested in. Hopefully a striker as well,

There's a decent player called Marange in France.

What about Kolo the French under 21 player who is supposed to be a red hot left full back and is in the market for 8million. I believe the problem that exists with him is that just about every team in The Prem are after him!Who will close the deal?

Although most Premier clubs import foreign players in an effort to attain the class they think they need to stay up, it's such a pity they do not spend more time and energy developing the home market. Chelsea won the FA Youth Cup, but, bet your bottom dollar non of those players will make it into the first team soon, if ever. Last season the top 5 Prem clubs debuted just one player all last season! And it looks like Palace are joining this club policy. Surely Palace can try to be better and different.

That's good news ...he's been classy this year and must feel good about himself after a rough couple of seasons before that.

Chelsea have a 16 year old on a £1m a year so all the kids will go there for bucks, unfortunately it's a head turner. Our academy is good but a world away for that, all we have to offer is a chance of first team football and that's not enough.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years
