It is quite possible that Mackay would ask Moody, if for no other reason than as you say a manager tends to bring his previous "back-up" team when he moves, see Dougie, Lennie et al, and TP, David Kemp etc. I know some Sheep Shaggers say Mackay wasted money on some players, and it would not be unreasonable to infer that Moody had a role in that. However, I do know someone who has spoken at length with Moody and he does seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of players etc and he is keen that we should be able to make best use of it. So depending on where Mackay ends up may also dictate if he goes there too. His stock is bound to increase if he is with us should we have another good season.
