Hi there!
In Swedens biggest newspaper called Aftonbladet, they have a columnist that this week just goes crazy in his praise over Palace.
He's been positive towards us in quite a long time, praising Pulis in particular but also the commitment and fight in the players.
But this week he's praising our "extra" player, also known as the fans!
He's calling us the best fans in the league, and though he was in bed sick during the game he got the goosebumps from your singing.
"They never stop singing and cheering although their team was 3-0 down. I'm so glad that Palace are in the PL next year and my next visit to England will be at Selhurst Park to see and hear that crowd live!"
Just thought I'd share this!
Cheers

Thanks for that MidnightSunEagle!

Any chance of a link to the piece, or a translation of what the guy wrote about us?

FROM SWEDISH PAPER

Sportbladet

3-0 became 3-3.

Manchester City's slight advantage grew larger - and on Twitter relieved reactions to each other.

- I Love Crystal Palace so much, writes City midfielder Samir Nasri after Liverpool's points spigot against Crystal Palace.

It all seemed cut and dried , but from minute 79 onwards Liverpool lost everything. Crystal Palace picked up 3-0 to 3-3, Luis Suarez could not stop crying and Brendan Rodgers said that Manchester City would now be champion.

In the virtual world aired opinions as fresh as ever. Page westhamblog.co.uk has a Twitter account with nearly 2,000 followers and writes that " No one wants to see Luis Suarez cry - besides all . hahaha # Liverpool " .

"Love Palace"

Bruce Millington , editor of the Racing Post newspaper , is an avid supporter of Crystal Palace and tweeted after the game: "I'm glad that Suarez picked the ball out of the goal so quickly after 0-3 . It gave us enough time to make our three goals. "

Manchester City star Samir Nasri also wanted to tell her : " What a game , what league. I love Crystal Palace so much. Now it's our turn to do the job. "

Liverpool went into series lead thanks to the still picked one point , but have a game more played than City. Tomorrow night they take the light blue against Aston Villa at home at Etihad Stadium.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Here we go with the translation!

I'm going to end this with a unreserved tribute to Crystal Palace, or more accurate a special part of the club.
We have praised Tony Pulis over and over again for what he has done with the team, praised the players for their tremendous hard work, now it's time to praise the teams twelfth player.
Did you hear the atmosphere at Selhurst Park last night? I hope so!
Otherwise you missed out on something.
No matter what the scoreboard said, even at 0-3, the stadium was a singing ocean!
We love you..........

I was sick in bed at home but there was something that lit up my existence. I got the shivers.

There's more in the same loving style, I could put some time in translating the rest if someone is interested?

The whole article translated by Google Translate:

Palace are world class - in the stands
May 6, 2014 , at . 20:47 by JohnDoe

Could anyone at all see that recovery coming? Doubtful. Liverpool put 3-0 yesterday at the start of the second half gone against a Crystal Palace that secured the contract. It is supposed , according to all the " knowledge " , be an advantage to face the team that did not have to pick points, precisely because it was extra unlikely.
There were only twelve minutes left of normal time when Raheem Sterling was replaced and was replaced by Coutinho . A few seconds later it was 1-3 . Would Brendan Rodgers in the state made a defensive replacement ?
Yes, probably , but it's like always easy to say in retrospect as he himself admitted afterwards.

The Sky Sports was Jamie Carragher as usual brilliant when he enlisted the help of Sky's special camera that overview filming the whole plan . He lifted it as Gary Neville was talking about after Liverpool's match against Norwich : How Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho put his team in trouble by falling and do not push up the defense .
A little fun in the context that we had the exact same problem in a year's time at the center backs in our bacon bunch Old Karlbergare (or how , Marko ) . The same phenomenon in Division 6 in the Premier League , the same type of instruction . Just another world.
Below Carragher sawing Skrtel and Sakho (I hope our players look ) :

Even more snack from Carragher / Neville .

We do not cave into us in Luis Suárez tears or speculate on how the fans felt it .
A reverse Istanbul.
They have been so close and now is their feeling that they have thrown it away with the loss against Chelsea and points drop against Crystal Palace. But I definitely see that the title race alive.
Larger miracle has happened than to Manchester City without Sergio Aguero ( in both matches ? ) Do not manage to win two straight home games. And that face teams that are ready was not so simple.

Thought conclude by unreservedly shelf Crystal Palace, or rather a very special part of the club.
We have praised Tony Pulis again and again for what he's done with the team, praised the players who work tremendously hard, now is the time to celebrate the team's twelfth player.
Did you hear the atmosphere at Selhurst Park yesterday ? I hope so ! Otherwise, if you missed something .
Whatever the outcome on the board , even at 0-3, the stadium was a singing sea .
"We Love you, We Love you, We Love you,
and where you go we follow , we follow , we follow ,
'cos we support the Palace , the Palace , the Palace ,
and that's the way we like it , we like it , we like it ,
woooooooooooooooh , Woooooooooooooooooooh "

I was , as you know , nedbäddad at home , but it was something that lit up your world . I got chills.
It was a fat finger up somewhere for all those who slentriankritiserar today's English läktarkultur . Selhurst Park yesterday , Holmesdale Fanatics ( ultra group that controls the curve at the short side where Dwight Gayle sat acknowledgment ) , was absolutely world class.
Yesterday was nothing unique .
Even after the premiere , we noted that the Premier League with Crystal Palace foray set the color of the matches.
They talk sometimes about how the stands can win a football game for their team. How many points are in this case Crystal Palace fans were behind ?
Whatever the results, regardless of table position , they have supported their team through thick and thin . Marouane Chamakh & Co. have always known that the supporters have enormous pressure in the back. Opponents who visited Selhurst Park has had to face a wall. Not quite as big and strong voice as the "Yellow Wall" in Dortmund, but enough to scare them .
Now these fans got their reward for their hard work.
Crystal Palace remain in the Premier League. I am extremely happy about it. Next PL- visit I'll make sure to place at Selhurst Park.
I was there in 1997. Then played Vinnie Jones at Wimbledon ( who also played in the stadium at the time) . Just such a thing .

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Inte ens Pulis kan rädda Crystal Palace
(Not even Pulis can rescue Crystal Palace)
22 November 2013, kl. 17:36 by Kalle Karlsson

In 21 seasons he has never been relegated from a league. Now that run will be broken.

There isn't a throw-in in the world that can save Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace, last in the Premier League with four points after eleven matches, is expected to present Tony Pulis, 55, as the new coach any moment now.

Has Crystal Palace spent a month searching for a coach and landed on Tony Pulis? That may be a result of not looking hard enough. Or it could be a sign that they've recognized the football they're supposed to play.
[...]
Tony Pulis has merits. Not least the fact that he was never knocked out a league with a team. But if he takes over Crystal Palace then that fine run is probably going to end.

[...] Tony Pulis is not a visionary solution for the future.
