Was there any link to Fulham's relegation and the removal of the Jackson statue? Given the choice, who's statue would you like to see at Selhurst and why?

I don't think the statue affected their relegation chances, they were never going to beat it. Let's not worry about them though because they don't care about us.

Neil Shipperley It would need to massive bit of rock to cut it from, and when finished it would also block out the sun. For me, the statue would slightly edge Shipps on pace. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (04 May 2014 3.44pm)

I think Jules is in everyone's top 5 players of all time. Most people I have spoken to say it is between him and Geoff Thomas.

If this is a serious question, my answer would be a statue of Len and Nicky Chatterton. A family club with local people at its heart, who contribute to making Palace what it is in many different ways on and off the pitch. Neither are superstars, but then we are not a superstar club. To me, this would be the perfect statue outside the main stand.
Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God. |

The managerial search went on for so long it made me wanna scream but it's my own fault for being a tabloid junkie. Thankfully in the end we chose the right man and Petrescu remained a stranger in Moscow.

Jonathon Bostock, put the statue up there as a warning to all young hopefuls who get dazzled by the bright lights of Champions league type clubs.
