This is just the media twisting words as usual. The reporter asked him "can you GUARANTEE?" So, rightly, he said "you can never guarantee" ... which is of course true. The BBC interview and the interview with SP on Holmesdale Radio recently states quite evidently that TP has plans to continue. He's going nowhere. Relax.

If you watch the interview he was talking about the way football is in general these days IE nothing is guaranteed. He also said in the same interview that it is all nonsense to suggest he is not happy or committed to Palace and that his relationship with the owners is going well while to maintain that both sides have to bend a bit sometimes in order to make it thrive.

He wants guarantees about moving the club fwd, eg developing infrastructure and transfer funds. His stock is sky high, so he can hold out for this. If parish and co back him, he'll stay. If not he may walk. I can't see the board letting this opportunity to slip though.

If we don't loosen the purse strings and get him have the players he wants he'll be off, you can be sure of that. Didn't Holloway say he spoke to something ridiculous like 120 odd players last summer and the money we were offering was always the issue? that's why we ended up with a lot of crap, pulis will not put up with this, he doesn't have too, we need him more than he needs us.
