Wilf great last season outstanding in the play offs and will always be loved for that.

Punch playing a division up, scoring goals for fun in key 1-0 3-point wins, and with the great TPs influence puts in a shift for the team when on the backfoot. Could never see Wilf doing that - didn't do it for Man U, not doing it for Cardiff.

Wilf has a lot to do to match JP's work rate, and JP never goes missing in the 90 minutes. Can remember towards the end of last season in Holloway's darkest days, you would sometimes forget Wilf was on the pitch.

JP always there and always a threat. Definitely in my starting 11 for next year.

Well done Jason - you proved a lot of people wrong.

Wilf run Utd ragged at OT 2YRS AGO in the League Cup. Wilf has an England cap.
Wilf beat the Seaweed.
Wilf got the penalty that KP buried.
Wilf is young, JP is in his prime.
Wilf/Punch are not the hardest workers in a team.....so what.

Why judge where Wilf is ATM let alone compare him to a seasoned pro who's had a decent last half season?
I guess you're young instead of deluded. Hopefully not both.

Either way, I wouldn't complain if both were in our squad.

Bit harsh, some comments just hammering down Puncheon to Wilf. Both have done the business in different leagues. We are unable to judge Wilf in the prem as hes not had much game time at both United and Cardiff. When hes played for Cardiff he has been good in a few games, others he looks like hes not bothered. Moving on I think Punch this season has proven his worth.

Puncheon has a better final ball and a better finish than Wilf, the reason a lot of people like Wilf so much is because he can bring something special out of nowhere with his flair and pace. Overall I think Puncheon this season has been just as good as Wilf, the reason for this is Without Zaha we probably more than likely wouldn't be in the prem. BUT! Without Jason this season we would be easily down in the relegation scrap right now, hes scored and assisted crucial goals in our survival this season.

I presume this is you Jason? Thanks for the points mate but you could look like you gave a f*** sometimes and that's the difference between you and Wilf...he showed passion for the club and not just for himself.

They are very different players in my book.

Puncheon is like a much better (tricker, quicker, stronger) version of Ambrose. He can float in an out of games and then BANG, one moment of quality. He's never going to consistently beat his full back because he's quite predictable. He's at his most dangerous when he can drop in off the wing into a bit of space or when the defence is half asleep.

Wilf is a guy who, like Yannick, needs the ball as much as possible. Unlike JP he is the one who will consistently run a defence ragged and, if he doesn't do the damage himself, will open up gaps for others.

The prospect of all three in the same time, with either Punch or Wilf playing off Chamakh and running at central defenders is terrifying.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Puncheon is a good player playing very well. Zaha is a brilliant player that hasn't been given a chance all season and is consequently unfit.

When Zaha is played all the time at whichever club he ends up at in the summer, he will be the better player and one of the best in the league, without a doubt.

You're forgetting how Wilf went missing for a couple of months last winter, and unlike JP, who bought his family an executive box the day after signing for us, he isn't a Palace fan.

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

If Wilf had a manager who actually managed him and gave him some confidence back you would see the star player we all knew we had sold to ManUre.

I don't like comparing players. Punch has been great lately and scored many of the goals that have kept us up. Wilf almost single-handedly got us up with his performances in the playoffs. Bring him home and he'll be a star again, he's a fantastic talent.

Punch is a good player, and TP is getting the best out of him no doubt, but wilf can be an exceptional talent, would like him back on loan to see if TP can get him back to his best, if he can then, he could be sensational!
