Just watching Everton being comprehensively beaten by Southampton with 'Olé's' being shouted by their fans - reminded me of our win at Cardiff where we took the absolute piss and didn't give them a chance.

Which got me thinking... when was the last time we played so badly or were so obviously outclassed and struggled to get out of our own half - I can't remember a game under Pulis, unless maybe Newcastle at home?

Newcastle at home we were totally outclassed.

Also Swansea at home as well but that could have been under Holloway still? We got nowhere near them that day.

I definitely think the fulham game has to be up there. Although two of their goals were quality in general it was a poor display imo. but wasnt under pulis.

The turning poibt for our season...imo...was newcastle away. We were just as good as them and lost due to bad luck. The boys didnt look back after that. I reckon they started to realise they could compete with most of the 'better' teams after that game.

That's what I like about TP's teams. Never taken apart. Got fed up with 'Olly and the way he seemed to admire the way teams out-manoeuvred Palace. Even the first game against Spurs, Palace could have won as Spurs were really apologetic in their play. But 'Olly didn't get the team to close down and fight, so chance gone. Not happening now. Best result 0-1 at Citybank, where so many teams were getting mullahd.

I agree it was almost like he wanted to watch us getting outclassed by them.
