Good to see most are acknowledging it as a tough match for them that they will have to play very well to get anything out of.

Interesting comparison to the equivalent thread in the Everton forum.

They aren't half as cocky.

Looking forward to this, palace have by far the best fans in the league so it should be a great atmosphere.

Snatching a point would be a good result. They seem a bit shaky at the back recently.

f***ing noisy, but the rags beat them 2-0 there a while back. Southampton also beat them, Norwich got a point since Pulis took over, they've won the rest.

Bloke at work who is a Man City fan, is fearing the worse. Isn't it great to be able to head into a game like this, with no pressure regarding points! i can see a draw

Many up there thought that the visit of Palace was the second toughest fixture they'd had this season - behind Bayern. I saw it, and we gave them a very tough test; a draw was deserved and a win would not have been a crime.

I'm hoping that the Selhurst advantage, confidence and memory of that game; coupled with City's recent stuttering and the natural tendency of prima donnas to take their foot off the gas when they've nothing to play for, will play right into Palace's hands.

Maybe another 1-0 special?

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

For me the result on this game depends on what happens in the Liverpool-Chelsea game immediately before this. If Liverpool win, City can all but kiss goodbye to the title meaning we'll perhaps get an easier game than perhaps if it's a draw or Chelsea win.

Palace being very much in the role of King-maker is one I'm struggling to come to terms with.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Watching the West ham game last weekend, it dawned on me that this may be the first Palace game I have seen in decades, when I wasn't terrified of losing. Decades!

Not sure if Pellegrini will let them get the result of that match, purely for the reasons stated
