Keep them out for the first 30 mins and we have a chance. They seem to go gung ho starting matches to establish a healthy lead. As a consequence they seem to tire well before time. Will be a very interesting match with the attacking threat they have up against our defensive unit.

Perhaps we should concentrate on Man City first, do you think?

I have watched Liverpool several times this season especially over the past month or so.

Too many teams try to go at them due to the perceived weakness of the Liverpool back four. However, all this does is create spaces for the counter and they have serious pace and incredible passers of the ball.

Actually they fall in to the category of the type of team we should do well against. We will sit deep, we will not allow them space and once they breach the midfield they will be faced by the defence.

They will find it tough against us. Then at the other end our fast counter attacks will certainly worry their back line.

However, they have some class players who are presently playing to their full potential. They may not have spent the billions Chelski and Manchester City have but they have spent a considerable amount more than us.

I just have a feeling we may win this one. 2-1 to Palace.

livepool is a counterattack driven team. they stuggle when they they have to create on their own. Look at the norwich game. in open play, they struggled except when they sprung sterling on the counter.

We will deny them space in our 1/3 of the pitch leaving them struggling to get their game going then counter attack. Whether this will be good enough I'm not sure, Suarez is a world class player and they are tough to stop but we'll give it a good go.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years
