Now that we are safe, we can officially think about who we keep and who we get rid of (i'm not posting this in transfer talk as it says inbound players only??).

Below are my thoughts on the current squad:

KEEP
Bolasie, Yannick
Dann, Scott
Delaney, Damien
Gabbidon, Danny
Hennessey, Wayne
Jedinak, Mile
Ledley, Joe
Mariappa, Adrian
Murray, Glenn
O'Keefe, Stuart
Parr, Jonathan
Price, Lewis
Puncheon, Jason
Sekajja, Ibra
Ward, Joel
Williams, Jerome
Wynter, Alex
Appiah, Kwesi
Boateng, Hiram
De Silva, Kyle
Sekajja, Ibra

NEW CONTRACT/SIGN
Chamakh, Marouane
Dikgacoi, Kagisho
Ince, Tom
Speroni, Julian

LOAN OUT
Gayle, Dwight
Hunt, Jack
Williams, Jonny

SELL/RELEASE
Alexander, Neil
Bannan, Barry
Campana, Jose
Dobbie, Stephen
Guedioura, Adlene
Garvan, Owen
Jerome, Cameron
Kebe, Jimmy
McCarthy, Paddy
Moxey, Dean
Ramage, Peter
Thomas, Jerome
Wilbraham, Aaron

Thoughts everybody?

I agree we need to scale the squad down, and identify a few well-priced additions to increase the quality in depth (like we did in January).

Loan:

Boateng,
Bannan,
Campana,
Hunt

Maybe not loan out Gayle,

Can't see Sekajja having a future here beyond his current contract (not sure when it ends). Likewise Alex Wynter, or even Kyle De Silva. It's a shame, but if they were likely to force their way through they'd have done it by now (even Johnny Wiliams is struggling). Get rid of either Lewis Price or Alexander - I think Price's contract is up.

Keep Guedioura, and Bannan would be nice too, but seems unlikely.

Not sure what's best to do with Jerome. Depends who else can be signed. If there's no-one better around, I'd definitely keep him. Better the devil you know, and he can be very effective to our formation. If we were to sign Tom Ince, he could mature into a great goal-scoring winger, like Puncheon has shown in recent weeks. They'll need someone like Jerome to be at their best. I'd rather have Jerome than someone on higher wages who scores a few more but lacks the work ethic.

I hate to say it, but I think Murray has a difficult job justifying himself. If he were 27 it would be different, but I feel he may have peaked.

Things I would change

Gabbidon- Replace

Murray- Loan (personally don't think he will be the prem star we need)

O'Keefe- Loan. (Big fan but he isn't prem standard, in a void between top championship and struggling at prem level)

Price- Sell

KG- No idea. Probably right to give him a new short term contract, easily replaced with an improvement.

Guediora- Has looked good, unlucky with injury, another season possibly?

Guediora possibly is KG's replacement.

Only TP knows our budgets, and what these individuals add to dressing room climate. I suspect their value to both these areas will play a part to any of the players with a question mark above them.

Gabbidon - I was torn between selling him and keeping him. Up until Dann arrived, I thought he was fantastic. Maybe keep him another season - his experience will count for a lot?

Murray - always going to take him a few months to recover. I hope next season, after a full pre-season under his belt, we'll see him back to near his best. He deserves the chance.

O'Keefe - I like Stuey playing that last 10 min super sub role. His energy and die hard attitude helps us to see out games. Happy to keep him in the squad.

KG - i'd keep him just as he's played well this season. However, if TP finds a better alternative, i'd not be fussed if he went.

Guediora - can't say i'm fussed about him.

Bannan - TP doesnt seem to rate him? He was playing really well up until the point TP arrived in Oct/Nov, but hasnt played since. The writing is on the wall perhaps?

Campana - he's toast. He won't be back.

Gayle - i'd only loan him out if we signed a couple of decent strikers. We need more goals up top for next season, so i'm hoping we replace Jerome/Gayle

Would swap Marshall for Hennessey if Cardiff go down

Would defo get rid of Parr

Might prefer Zaha to Ince, depending on respective costs

Would keep Jerome if cheap

Would rather Moxey than Parr as back-up left back

I think there is going to be a lot of activity in pre-season.

We need 5 or 6 good signings who will fit the Pulis mould if we are to be a 50 point team next season.

I would say goodbye to Gabbidon (age). Also Murray, Parr and Moxey (decent Championship players who have not let us down but not players that could get into a Southampton or Newcastle squad which has to be our level to aim for).

McCarthy - bye. Campana - bye. Thomas - bye.

Season long loan for Dwight (he isn't gonna get games at Palace)

Keep Bannan for chrissakes. He's proved he's way good enough.

Replace the outgoings with quality and character and I can see us staying in The Prem for a long time.

Cardiff will not do business with us. Forget ANY Cardiff players if they are relegated.

Would Keep Gabbidon for cover unless we can sign a proven CB need a proven left back. I like Parr but looks like Pulis doesn't. KG can go imo as Ledley can play there or Bannan if Pulis wanted to be more offensive although i think Bannan could be sold. Guediora could also fill in for KG but think he is another that may be out the door. Unless we can bring in a better quality striker then keep Jerome. Although he hasnt scored as many as he should/we would of liked him too he has no doubt worked his ass of running everywhere for the team. Campana is more than likely gone and gayle probably wont get many games so a loan move possibly.

Pulis said before Campana's loan that he is in his future plans. Would be interesting to see where he slots in.
