It wasn't too long ago, outside Sainsburys, protesting, chanting and praying that the club we love so much would remain. A few mediocre seasons since then with some memorable times (United away to name just one from a few) and our support has been as strong as I've ever witnessed it. Then for Dougie who took us to new heights, playing some of the best football I've ever seen at Selhurst and taking us to the top of the league, although the apparent betrayal and controversy, we can never forget what he's done for this club. And then onto Holloway, a man who was as loyal as anyone involved in the club. Although the performances went down hill (and results with that), he gave us some of the most memorable nights we will ever experience and brought Palace back upto the Premiership. It was a clearly a step too big for him but the utmost respect to him for stepping down when he did and accepting someone else needed to take over. And what a man it was to do so. Tony Pulis gave me and many other members mixed emotions upon arrival. One half of me thought we were relegated already and his brand of football wouldn't be the one that brought us back up. The other half told me that if there was one guy who could pull the impossible off for us it would be him. What a manager, he has now officially kept Crystal Palace up in the premier league for the first time in our history against all odds and despite being written off by every pundit, journalist, commentator, other fans and pretty much every one - with 3 games to go we are now within touching distance of the top half. Simply breathtaking, he is a legend at this club now forever. Credit to Steve Parish and the board who have set the example of how to run a small club that has just been promoted - never panicked or gave into fickleness, never overspent stupidly or tried to over achieve. Just ran this club with consistency and professionalism throughout, it's safe to say we could only dream of being where we are today without them! And last but not least - THE FANS. I don't wanna sound boring or big headed but it's safe to say we have been absolutely magnificent throughout. Never stopped singing, despite the result. Even when we were rock bottom, miles away from home, losing every game - we never forgot who we are or the one thing we came up with. I am 100% confident that we played a bigger part to this teams survival than anyone would imagine. So thank you. This is a day to remember, I'm off to celebrate now what has been a historic and unbelievable season, everyone who was involved can now celebrate all the hard work that has paid off. WE LOVE YOU!
