Like many of us on here, everyone has been extremely frustrated with Cam Jam in front of goal.... But it was a nice finish at goodison last night.... Thank good ness for him he got some reward for the kms he has been running every game..... I personally like his effort the last month.... Do you think TP will try and make his loan permanent or should we let him head back to Stoke and hunt better options if we have more in the coffers ?

Red & Blue since ' 76.. And what a fine year that was and has been ever since... !

At the right price, yes. I wouldn't want to pay silly money for him, but he's been our best front man/first choice since Pulis took over. His work rate is immense, and whilst he doesn't score many, he does create chances and spaces. I have a feeling if he stays, he'll crack on and get 6-10 or more next season.

I think he'll be keen to stay as well. A full pre-season and some confidence, and he could easily be a lethal striker.

YES

In a similar vein to Jules has done more than enough to earn himself a new contract. Obviously he's by no means lethal or blessed with natural finishing, but he works so hard, is strong, can hold the ball up and is exceptionally fast.

He's never going to set the world alight but is a decent player. It pains me to say it but ATM he is better option than Murray

He, at the very least, creates space for other players to shine.

His finishing has been very frustrating, but his work-rate has been excellent and I am convinced that we would really notice a difference if he was gone. He adds value.

Really happy for him to have finally got a goal too. (although he should have got Bolasie's rebound off the post in the first place...)

Can't see Hughes being massively keen on keeping him. He'll be looking to secure top 10 next year and was brought in to play 'attractive' football, CJ would be an odd move for that - he'd be more likely to want Gayle.

He has one year left on his contract there. I reckon we could get him for £2.5m and I'd certainly take that. I can't really see who else would be that keen on him, certainly not a more attractive offer to him anyway. Wouldn't be happy going above £3.5m.

Should we keep him? More to the point, can we let him go? Lots more in him and with the team playing well.....if it aint broke don't fix it.

In the past, Cameron Jerome has been a fairly prolific striker - For someone who's come in on loan, from the wilderness more or less with low confidence, he's fitted into the team really well, and become an important player. I think he'll improve if he stays next season. Strikers need belief, confidence and time to fit in.

Granted he'll never be 20-30 goals a season, but I could see him hitting 1 in 6 next season if he stays. His goal last night was very good.

Sorry definite no from me. Was pleased to see him score last night over the last couple of games he has deserved a goal. But Two goals over the season is not good enough. He has missed more sitters than can be excused. If he was cheap enough and on Championship wages maybe a squad player but I know we have already line up one very good CF and a winger, A Centre Back.

No.

In my view he doesn't do anything more that a fit Murray couldn't do and more.....As Murray can actually finish.

I'm not criticising Jerome as he gives it his all.....Like Moxey does.....However, similar to Moxey he is someone who has made the best of their potential but they simply can't cover for lacking that X factor.....Which is what you need to scare teams at the top level.

He's played his part but like KG $ Moxey he's a good championship player.

Already discussed on another thread but..... yes, definitely try and sign him. He has an important role to play.
