Our team now looks like a comfortable a mid prem set up but I don't think any of our players would fetch anywhere near 5 mill, that says a lot for Pullis and the team spirit. It's great that I don't think we will lose anybody to the big guns before the start of next season, so hopefully we can keep stable for a few seasons to come, happy days.

Really feel like Jedinak's price tag has increased this season significantly, I could see him being bought for around £7 million, his midfield work is supreme. At the same time, I think Bolasie is constantly improving
Eagles? Phoenix's. |

The main for me is that we are no longer relying on any one player to make things happen for us. Its team spirit, organisation and togetherness that are making the difference. goes to show a price tag doesn't mean as much as a lot of people think it does. With the success of this season and granted we keep Pulis, how many players do we realstically want? I would say 1 class midfielder to play alongside Jedi, and one class striker, if we can get one. Outside of that, our starting 11 have justified their place for next year to a large degree!

If Jedi could pass better then he would be worth ten plus, if bolasie could cross and shoot then yes, ten plus, If Ward could get in the England set up then he would be up there too.

Literally tonight, during the game, it crossed my mind that Bolasie could go for £5m. What value is he to our team? Pulis has shown that when you play a certain way, players have specific attributes that fit a system, and as a result means an individual player can be worth more to that starting 11 than another club of equal stature. Hence why Jerome gets picked ahead of Gayle and Murray despite being a lesser goal threat; or why Ince cannot get into our side yet is supposedly wanted by Everton, Tottenham and Newcastle (who are all above us).

Whatever values they have, these players are no better or worse in terms of potential than they were a month or two ago. The difference is, we've just won 4 in a row, and as a result the potential of many has been proven, meaning a valuation has rocketed. Thank f*** we signed Puncheon just after the Spurs game, as I bet Southampton feel they've missed a trick and have probably lost a few £100k. If only Zaha had stayed. Also crossed my mind tonight that Bolasie oohs the more likely Premiership player in 3 years time than poor Wilf.

It's great having a solid team, not relying on a great goal scorer to get us points, that's the thing that is most promising for me. The effect on Villa, West Ham, Swansea etc when they lost their main goal scorer has seen them all struggle - although AC ack at west ham has seen them improve massively. No relying on AJ to get spot kicks this season is a welcome change and we have a great squad to build on over the summer.

I'm not sure, Pulis seems to get players to chip in, even those with the "lazy" reputation like MC. I get the impression it is very much a "you track back or you don't play" and everyone sees to buy into it. Zaha on the break would be great, although currently I am not sure if he'd get further than our bench.

On current form who'd be dropped for him?

This time last year, if you were offered Zaha and Ince as your wingers, or Puncheon and Bolasie, there'd only be one winner. Zaha would be better defensively under Pulis, but he's been lumbered with two s*** sides this year without enough belief of managerial capability behind him.
