Hey guys. Stoked about today! Have done some ratings. Just my opinion. Be keen to see what others thought.
Not his busiest game. A couple of great saves. Perhaps could have been quicker off his line for their second goal, but a fairly decent performance. Mariappa - 7. Didn't get forward quite as much as we've seen in recent weeks. Looks increasingly comfortable at this level. Wasn't his best game today, but not bad at all either. Dann - 8 A number of crucial intercepts and tackles, plus a well taken goal. Delany - 7. Failed to see the danger for the second goal, making himself look a bit silly. But aside from that, another commendable and solid display. Ward - 8. No spectacular dribbling this time from Ward, but as dependable and consistent as ever. Jedinak - 9. Absolute beast. Interceptions, tackles, headers - even got stuck into Baines after he gave Mariappa a nose bleed! One of the premiership's best DM. Ledley - 8. As has been the way with Ledley's performances so far, nothing spectacular but keeps possession well and ticking over! Bolasie - 9. Caused Everton problems every time he got the ball. And almost got a goal to his name. Doesn't neglect defensive duties either. Excellent. Puncheon - 9. Skillful, intentional, goalscorer, assist, tracked back well - outstanding again from punch. Chamakh - 7. A quieter game from Cham. Not bad by any means - still linked up play very well as we know he can do. Perhaps just outshone a bit by his peers today. Jerome - 8.

Your criticism of Delaney is quite wrong. The ball was hit directly towards him and he was there ready to hoof it away or whatever. Unfortunately it hit the back of Ledley's boot and veered off at a 45 degree angle. This left DD absolutely no chance to turn and get back. It also meant Speroni was wrong footed hence his apparently lateness in getting out to the ball. A very lucky Everton goal in my opinion.. I would give: Speroni 7 Subs:

To be fair I think Delaney did look a bit out of his depths lastnight, but once again gave his all and led the back line like a trojan.

He faded out of the game badly in the second half, and looked totally knackered 20 mins before the end, and looked little disappointed he wasn't subbed instead of Chamakh.
