Cardiff have made a formal complaint now, to the Premier League saying they have concrete evidence about Iain Moody contacting staff about Cardiff's team.

If this is true (which I'm sure it's not) then what could the repercussions be for us? Just a fine or worse?

Look at this way, if Sunderland can field in an inelligible player for 4 games this season and only get fined, it will be absolutely ridiculous if we get anything more than that. And anyway, i really don't see it as a massive issue. If a member of staff at Cardiff did give the teamsheet to Moody, it's their fault. Obviously Moody shouldn't be asking, but it didn't end up being a major factor, neither team changed their starting line up, and regardless we probably would have smashed them anyway. They were awful.

Last I heard the manager always picked the team ,
Its a crock of s-it,

Exactly. What the hell is this claim all about, ffs. Vincent Tan being a crazy w***er.

Doesn't 'spying' by definition involve getting information secretly about something or someone without people knowing? As opposed to ringing someone up and asking them for information, which seems to be what happened here?

Somehow i doubt this'll ever be made into an episode of Spooks.

Did we not play the same side as we did against Chelsea the week before? It's not as if we changed 4 or five players. I'm sure they new what our team was cos they seen it in the paper . We should report the sun etc. Anyway I would be more worried about the super grass if I was Cardiff

This was on Skysports website "Cardiff captain Steven Caulker said: "To be honest with you, there have been problems like that all season, where certain things have been leaked." So that right there sounds like it's been happening alot at cardiff but now all the sudden they are in trouble and going down so let's get someone else in trouble. Leaked or not cardiff played s*** palace were brilliant and would of been the same result regardless.

It would just be our luck wouldn't it to get a deduction and end up going down on the last day.

We are not dealing with a rational human being with Tan. Ok, they've made a complaint but that doesn't mean there's any substance to it, regardless of what 'proof' they think they have.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

A slap on the wrist at worst.
Sunderland done far worse and look what they received, basically 'diddly'.
