I know he can't score for s***, but he has played an important role in our season. One that couldn't be replicated by any of our other strikers IMHO. Is he free in the summer? If so should we consider signing him permantley?

Na. We should look to do better than him in the summer if we finish high enough. Surely we can sign a player who can win the ball back and score. Or even just stick with Murray, Chamack and Gayle.

Depends who we can sign. Is our second best striking option after Chamakh, even though he doesn't score - does so much else.
You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue |

no, if he was a midfielder maybe, but he is a hard working but bad striker why not try and sign a hard working striker with an end product, 1 in 37 is awful no offence but i would prefer a proven scorer from the leauge and if not another high flight leauge.

100% keep him.works his nuts off and is a massive handful for defences and not just one defender but the whole back line.and if he could score we wouldn't be able to afford him.

No way. Send him back. Find someone who can put it in the net. Missed another sitter today - he's stealing a living as a striker. Defender maybe, but wasted up front.

Murray will be gone in the summer, or just a squad player. He won't get the service he had last season, and thus won't score goals like he did either. We have already tried Chamakh and Gayle up front and didn't really work out. Next season as long as we re-sign Chamakh, we should build a squad around him. Such a class player.

Very good 'defensive' striker. We've one of the best defences in the league, and he's the first line.

Tries hard and puts in a shift, but that miss today just sums up his ability in front of goal. Not someone I think we should be looking to sign permanently

Have to be honest and say that I find Jerome & Bolasie very frustrating. Both are decent squad players (Bolasie more so than Jerome) but their profligacy in front of goal is shameful. We really need a proven goal scorer or two, though I have high hopes for Chamakh & Murray next season.
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |
