Crystal Palace’s Sporting Director Iain Moody has been refused entry to the Cardiff City director’s box, according to reports from the Cardiff City stadium.

Moody, who was Head of Recruitment at Cardiff up until last year, was told he would have to sit with away fans, under the instructions of chairman Vincent Tan.

Moody worked as Cardiff City’s Head of recruitment when Malky Mackay was in charge and was seen as a key part of Cardiff’s recent successes.

During that time he brought in 29 signings, including big names such as defender Steven Caulker and Gary Medel.

However, last year, he was controversially replaced by Alisher Apsalymov, a 23-year-old who had no previous footballing experience, a move that Moody says he was never given an explanation for.

He was brought to Crystal Palace by Tony Pulis in November and was this week praised by the Palace manager, who said he was someone that would “get the job done.”

Saturday's trip to the Cardiff City Stadium marked Moody’s first return to the club since his acrimonious exit.

Pathetic, don't matter now anyway. We got the 3 points and they're going down.

Tan's whole empire is entirely out of touch and disrespectful.

If I cared, I'd also question whether the signings under Moody were more or less successful than the ones made since. Luckily I couldn't give a f***. Look forward to Cardiff's administration and points deduction somewhere around 2016.

Apart from missing out on a bit of 'Wing Yip' at the break, I'm guessing Moody's not that bothered.

Tan.........class in abundance

Hope he was wearing his black clobber. Sure he had a brilliant time in with the away fans anyway. Probably was given lots of ideas who to buy from the fans. Welcome back John Bostock.

Tan was on the sideline wearing a Cardiff shirt tucked into his trousers: looked ridiculous, like one of those US tourists off a cruise ship.

Why can't people spell 'definitely'?
